Pyrex for glassware like cassarole dishes, ect. and for your pots and pans the VERY BEST is made by Volrath. They are professional grade, double walled stainless steel with an aluminum core. Quite pricy but they are amazing. I buy nothing but professional grade kitchen equipment now. You can go to any restaurant supply house for really great products.
corning ware the price is right and they have a very durable product and some really nice patterns
Le Creuset is a very good quality, but expensive. A lot of chefs on Food Network use these pans. Expect to pay at least $100 for one pan, a lot of times, $200 and up. Each pan is made from only one mold and then the mold is destroyed. These pans will last forever. No offense to the person who mentioned Corningware, but those pans are cheap. I wouldn't waste my money on them.
